This policy explains what personal data Dojang Dynamics (“we”) collects when you use this site, why, and your rights under UK GDPR. The data controller is [Company legal name, registered address]. Contact: team@dojangdynamics.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), display name, club name (optional) and preferred style.
- Kit and codes: which products you’ve unlocked, the code used and when, and attempts to redeem a code (to stop guessing).
- Your library: favourites and lesson plans you save, and share links you create.
- Register interest: your email, club name (optional), the products you chose, and whether you said yes to marketing emails.
- Contact form: your name, email, club and message.
We don’t collect payment details. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To run your account and unlock the games you’ve bought (contract).
- To prevent code guessing and misuse (legitimate interests).
- To email you when kits ship, if you registered interest (your request), and to send marketing only if you ticked the separate box (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To answer your messages (legitimate interests).
Who processes it
Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), GitHub Pages (website hosting), our email delivery provider (account and confirmation emails), and, if enabled, Plausible Analytics (cookie-free, aggregate visit counts with no personal data). Each processes data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Register-interest sign-ups: 12 months after launch, then deleted unless you buy.
- Redeem attempts: 12 months.
- Contact messages: 24 months.
When you delete your account, your profile, favourites, lessons and entitlements are removed. The code you redeemed stays marked as used, without your details, so it can’t be resold.
Your rights
You can access, correct, download or delete your data. Use Download my data and Delete my account on your Account page, or email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Accounts are for instructors and parents aged 13 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children, and we don’t show photos or names of children without written consent from a parent.
